WARNING
IF DESCENT IS TO BE MADE USING FULL FLAPS,
SLOW THE AIRPLANE TO 81 mph or 70 knots IAS
PRIOR TO FLAP EXTENSION AND PRIOR TO
STARTING THE DESCENT. EXCEEDING THE FLAP
EXTENDED SPEED CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE
WING STRUCTURE AND POSSIBLE FAILURE OF THE
FLAP ATTACHMENTS.
IF THE DESCENT IS TO BE MADE WITH THE FLAPS
RETRACTED, DO NOT EXCEED
141 mph or 122 knots IAS IN SMOOTH AIR OR
93 mph or 81 knots IAS IN ROUGH AIR.
DO NOT MAKE FULL ABRUPT CONTROL
MOVEMENTS ABOVE 93 mph or 81 knots IAS.
EXCEEDING THE NEVER EXCEED SPEED OR THE
DESIGN AND OPERATING SPEEDS CAN CAUSE
SEVERE DAMAGE TO AND POSSIBLE FAILURE OF
THE AIRPLANE STRUCTURE
