CAUTION:
Do not use abrasive, metal or plastic
utensils.
1. Set the thermostat according to your preference
or to the recipe.
2. When using for the fi rst time and after the
pre-heating signal, lightly grease the waffl e
plates with vegetable oil using a pastry brush.
3. Pour the waffl e batter onto the lower plate using
a ladle.
4. Close and rotate the unit by turning the handle
to the left. Allow to bake.
5. When the unit makes another audible tone,
rotate the unit again by turning the handle to
the right.
6. Open the unit and remove the waffl es.
7. After use, turn the thermostat to 1 and unplug
the unit’s electrical cord.
8. Allow the unit to cool before storing.
4. ADVICE FROM THE CHEFS
1. Grease the waffl e plates before using them. Use
a slightly thick pastry brush for perfect results.
2. Always use the same appropriate measure to
pour out the waffl e batters, your waffl es will
always be identical and the same size.
3. Clean the waffl e plates with a damp cloth after
using the unit.
4. To remove any grease that may remain on the
plates, place a piece of absorbent kitchen towel
on the lower plate and close the waffl e maker.
The grease will be easier to remove.

6. CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Clean the unit after use and before storing.
• Before cleaning, make sure the unit is turned off
and unplugged and has cooled completely.
• Never dismantle the unit to clean it.
• Remove any crumbs on the grids using a brush,
and any oil residue using a dry cloth.
• Gently wipe the grids using a damp cloth to
prevent them from sticking and to remove
any traces of batter. This will also prevent any
accumulation of oil.
• Wipe the outside of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
