PART 2 - Cooking
1. Open the fryer lid
2. Take the basket completely out and load
with food
Never load food when the basket is in the raised
position. The basket can hold up to 0.8kg of food.
3. Lower the filled basket into the oil
Slowly lower the filled basket into the oil. Then,
release the handle to the recessed position, as
described on page 8.
4. Close the fryer lid
You can check the food through the window. If
you open the lid while cooking, be careful of the
steam that is produced, it may scald.

Set the correct oil temperature for the food
- the frying guide on page 11 will assist you.
3. Plug the fryer into the mains
Plug the fryer into the mains socket and switch on the power at the mains.
4. Set The Temperature
Set the variable thermostat lever to your desired temperature. The power indicator will first turn
red and then turn green when the selected temperature is reached and it is ready to use.

Do not omit the preheating process!
When using for the first time, the fryer may emit a slight odour. This is harmless and quite
normal. The odour will cease after a very short time.
