Step 1
Beginning on the driver side, locate
the three mounting tabs along the
bottom edge of the vehicle.
Step 2
Starting at the front mounting location,
remove any debris from the factory studs.
Attach a mounting bracket using
an M8 nylock nut and flat washer.
Repeat this process for the
middle and rear mounting locations.
Snug the hardware,
but do not fully tighten.
Step 4
Congratulations on the installation
of your new ARIES 4" Big Step
™
.
With the side bars installed, periodic
inspections should be performed to ensure
all mounting hardware remains tight.
To protect your investment, see the
'Notes and Maintenance' section on
the first page of this instruction manual.
Step 3
Place the driver-side side bar onto the
mounting brackets and align the mounting
points. Ensure the rivet nuts on the bottom
of the side bar line up with the brackets.
Secure the side bar to the brackets
using a M8 hex bolt, lock washer and flat
washer at each mounting location.
Snug the hardware,
but do not fully tighten.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the
front, middle and rear mounting
locations on the passenger side.
