Tilt Module
2.3
POSITION
The ASM/TM must be mounted in a position where it is not exposed to levels of water, dust, shock or vibration above those
expected on a mobility application. The ASM/ TM has been tested in accordance with IS07176/14 with respect to these
conditions. Contact Curtiss-Wright if you need further advice.
2.4
CONNECTIONS
There are two ReBus connectors within the ASM/ TM used for connection to the R-net system.
3
PROGRAMMING
The ASM and TM parameters are held within their own programming group and the main Inhi bts Group.
Sta bility/
Advanced Stability Module (ASM)
Global
Function
Sets what function the Module will perform
Orientation
Sets the expected mounting orientation for the module on the chair
Null Calibration
Sets a tilt angle offset to allow for the modules mounting position
Accelerometer
Accelerometer Module Fitted
Sets whether the Power Module checks for the presence of an ASM
Accelerometer Error Speed Limit
Sets the maximum speed of the wheelchair should an ASM error be detected
Maximum Acceleration Threshold
Sets the acceleration above which the forward speed will start to be scaled
Minimum Acceleration Threshold
Sets the acceleration at which the scaled forward speed is applied
Minimum Forward Speed Scaler
Sets the scaling ratio applied to the forward speed of the wheelchair when the value of Maximum Acceleration Threshold is
reached
Anti-Spin
Sets the effectiveness of the ASM in preventing spin-out when there is a loss of traction
TilT
Forward Tilt Input
Sets if the Forward Tilt Input is interrogated
TilT Module
Orientation
Sets the expected mounting orientation for the module on the chair
Forward Tilt Input
Sets if the Forward Tilt Input is interrogated
