Maintenance
of the mobile scaffold tower
All parts, especially the moving parts and the welds, must be checked regularly, but at least
once a year, for wear and damage.
Missing and broken parts must be replaced.
Aluminium parts may no longer be used in the following cases:
-
If round tubes have one or more dull dents with a depth of more than 3.0 mm;
-
If round tubes have one or more dents right next to a welded joint, regardless of depth
of the dent and shape of the dent;
-
If square/rectangular tubes have one or more dull dents with a depth of more than 2.0
mm;
-
If tubes or conduits have one or more sharp dents or cracks, regardless of
length/depth and location of the dent(s)/tear.
Moving parts, including castors, etc., must be clean and in good working condition.
Repair of scaffolding material must always take place in consultation with the manufacturer.
