Using and Charging the Battery Pack
Charge the Battery Pack before using it for the first time. Normally, the Battery Pack can be
charged around 500 times. With normal daily use, your Battery Pack can last for 1.5 years. When
fully charged, the Battery Pack can operate an estimate 3 ~ 4 hours of continuous playback. The
actual battery life depends on how the player is used.

Attaching the Battery Pack.
Turn the player upside down on a smooth clean surface that will not
scratch the player. Remove the Battery Terminal Protector first from
the player if installed. When battery is not attached to player, it is
recommended that the terminal protect be installed to prevent any
potential electrical short circuit with the player. Aline and insert the

Lock Battery Pack to the player.
Keep one hand on the player to prevent the player from moving.
Gently slide the Battery Pack toward to front of the player until the
battery locks into place.
Charging the battery pack.
Plug the Power Adapter into the Battery DC IN 10 V Jack on the Left
Side of the Battery Pack. Plug the other end of the Power Cord into a
household wall Power Outlet.

Recharging and Charging times
We recommend that you charge the Battery Pack only when the battery status becomes less
than 25%. Unnecessary charging of the battery will reduce Battery Pack service life. When the
Battery Pack is being charged, the Battery Indicator is illuminated
Red
. After charging is
completely, the
Red Light
Indicator turns
Green
. The Charging time is normally between 3 ~ 4
hours. Do not charge the Battery Pack more than 8 hours. This could reduce the Battery Pack
service life, as well.

Check Battery Status on Display Menu or
Cursor Mode Menu
Use the table to the left as a guide. When the battery
power is in ALMOST OUT OF POWER Status or the
unit’s front panel power indicator starts to blink, please
charge your Battery Pack right away. At this stage, the
Battery Pack has about 10 minutes of charge left.
