Using the Television
Switching On
The monitor will turn on automatically when user starts using the fi tness equipment. The power indicator LED will change
from BLUE to AMBER when “on”. The monitor can also be turned on using the remote control.
NOTE:
The monitor will
switch to standby when the fi tness equipment shuts down at the end of a workout.
Standby
The
STANDBY
button is located left of center on the bottom of the monitor. When the fi tness equipment is not in use, the
monitor will be in STANDBY mode and the power indicator light will be BLUE. To switch the monitor out of standby, press
the
STANDBY
button on the bottom of the monitor, press the
POWER
button on the remote control or start using the
equipment. The power indicator light will change from BLUE to AMBER.
NOTE:
Do not leave the monitor on overnight.
Changing Channels
1.
Press the
CH +
and
CH -
keys on the remote control or use the channel
UP
and
DOWN
buttons on the fi tness
equipment. See Below.
NOTE:
Exit must be pressed on any on-screen menus before changing channels.

The fi tness equipment console and remote control have keys
1
through
9
and
0
which can be used to directly select a
channel thus avoiding scrolling through every channel to reach the desired channel.
When using the remote control, enter the one, two, three or four digit channel number on the numeric keypad and
then press the
ENTER
key to switch to channel.
When using the fi tness equipment keypad, press the
TV
button, then enter the one, two, three or four digit channel
number on the numeric keypad and then press the
ENTER
key to switch to channel.

When using the remote control, for digital TV sub channels such as 4-2, press the main channel number, then the oval
“-“ key once and then the sub channel number. Press the
ENTER
key to switch to channel.

When using the remote control, to return to the previously viewed channel press the button with two opposing arrows
(above the
CH +
button) on the remote control.
