Dancing bar’s weights.
Both front and rear dancing bars are equipped with a series of weights. Depending on the media’s
characteristics it is needed to add or subtract weights to the dancing bar in order to add stability to the
feeding and take-up systems.
As more we add weights, the dancing bar lighter it gets. As seen in the illustration below.
A heavy dancing bar may apply a good tension to the media, but may also reduce the feeding stability.
Therefore, based on the experience, regulating correctly the dancing bar’s weight meeting the media’s
characteristics will help to avoid undesired feeding bandings.
Caution
We suggest to wear safety gloves and safety shoes when handling these weights.
Important
Keep same number of weighs on both sides to keep the system well balanced and avoid braking the ball
bearings.
