Multi-SSID
If you want to configure the Guest and Internal networks on Virtual LAN (VLAN), the switch and DHCP server you
are using must also support VLANs. As a prerequisite step, configure a port on the switch for handling VLAN tagged
packets as described in the IEEE802.1Q standard.
Check to enable Multi-SSID.
Check to enable VLAN.
You can enable this function to set a priority to
each SSID. Working with 802.1p and 802.1q,
improve the user experience for audio, video and
voice applications.
Selected IEEE802.11a or IEEE802.11g.
You can select up to 7 multi-SSIDs. The default
multi-SSIDs is the primary, which puts the total to
8 multi-SSIDs.
Service Set Identifier (SSID) is the name designated
for a specific wireless local area network (WLAN).
The SSID’s factory default setting is
dlink.
The
SSID can be easily changed to connect to an
existing wireless network or to establish a new
wireless network.
