LED Indicators
The following table explains what the various LEDs on the switch represent when they light
up.

LED
Description
Power LED
The indicator lights solid green when the switch is receiving
power; otherwise, the light is off.
Fault state LED
• The light blinks green on start-up (post).
• The light turns off while the system is running.
• The light turns on solid green if a u-boot permanent fault occurs.
Per port Speed/Link/Activity
state LED
•
Link/Act LED
: The indicators light up when there is a secure
connection (or link) to an Ethernet device per port. The
indicator blinks whenever there is reception or transmission
(that is, Activity/Act) per port.
•
Speed LED
:
- When 10/100Mbps per port, the indicator light is:
Green when linked to 100Mbps.
Off when linked to 10Mbps.
- When 10/100/1000Mbps per port, the indicator light is:
Yellow when linked to 100Mbps.
Light green when linked to 1000Mbps.
Off when linked to 10Mbps.

SFP LED
: The indicator lights green when linked to a SFP
interface.
