The following parameters may be configured for the IP (IPv4) filter.
Parameter Description
Access ID (1-128)
Type in a unique identifier number for this access. This value can be set from
1
to
128
.
VLAN Name / VLAN
ID
Allows the entry of a VLAN name or VLAN ID for a previously configured VLAN.
DSCP
Selecting this option instructs the Switch to examine the DiffServ Code part of each packet
header and use this as the criteria, or part of the criterion for forwarding.
ICMP
Select
ICMP
to instruct the Switch to examine the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP)
field in each frame's header.
Action
Select
Permit
to specify that the packets that match the access profile are forwarded by the
Switch, according to any additional rule added (see below).

Deny
to specify the packets that match the access profile are not forwarded by the
