USING USB PORT ON D-LINK DSL502T
Generally, the Ethernet connection is more reliable than a USB connection. In case you need to use the
USB port on the router, the following instructions will guide you through the setup process.
IMPORTANT:
Do not connect the USB cable to your PC before completing the below steps.
To install USB driver follow these instructions:
1. Insert D-Link CD to CD-ROM drive. Installation Wizard will start.
Close
this page, as we do not need
to run this installation wizard now.
2. Double left-click on the My Computer icon (on your Desktop). Or if you don’t have the My Computer
icon on your Desktop, click
Start >>My Computer
(Computer for Windows Vista users).
In the My Computer window, locate “
DSL-502_1.03
” icon (like it is shown in the picture), Right-Click
on the icon and then select “Explore”. Windows Explorer will start, and you will be able to see the
content of the “DSL-502_1.03” CD.
3. Double-Left Click on
USB Driver
folder
4. Double-Left Click on
Setup.exe
(this will start the installation wizard)
