Conﬁguration Overview

To conﬁgure a DWS-1008 switch for basic service, perform the following tasks, in this

order:

1. Conﬁgure an enable password. (See “Conﬁguring an Enable Password” on page 19.)

2. Conﬁgure time and date parameters. (See “Conﬁguring the Time and Date” on page 20.)

3. Conﬁgure IP connectivity. (See “Conﬁguring IP Connectivity” on page 22.)
