Section 3 - Configuration
Network Settings
This page lets you configure the network settings for E30. To access this page, click
Settings
> Network
.
Click
Save
to apply the settings and a reboot may be required.
Management Link
You can change the URL of the device by editing the text in
the box. You can replace E30-xxxx with a name of your choice
for “http://E30-
xxxx
.local./” (where “xxxx” represents the last
4 digits of the MAC address). However, you will need to enter
the modified URL in the address bar of your web browser to
access the configuration utility.
Advanced Settings
The Advanced Settings section of the Network Settings page allows you to
configure both IPv4 and IPv6 settings for communicating with E30.

Here you can select the method of assigning an IP address to
E30:
Dynamic IP
or
Static IP
addressing mechanism. If you
select Dynamic IP, the options below will not be available.
IP Address
Assign an IPv4 address. This address should be outside of the
uplink router’s DHCP address pool.
Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask. It is used to determine the subnet of
an IP address.
Gateway Address
Enter the gateway address. This is usually the IP address of
the uplink router.
Primary DNS
Enter the address of the primary DNS server. It is the address
of the server used to resolve hostnames to IP addresses.
Secondary DNS
Enter the address of the secondary DNS server. This is optional
but will provide backup if the primary server fails.
