Hardware Overview
Front View
Left HDD and Right HDD LEDS:
these lights will be solid WHIte when drives are
connected but inactive. the lights will blink when the drives are being accessed,
formatted or synchronized. they will illuminate amBeR if a drive has failed.
USB LED:
this light will illuminate when a usB device is inserted into the usB port.
this light will blink when there is traffic.
Power LED:
this light will illuminate when this sharecenter shadow is powered on.
Power Button:
press once to power on the sharecenter shadow. press and hold
the button until it begins to blink to power down the sharecenter shadow.
Front Panel:
this panel can be unlatched simply by sliding it up until the 6 hooks
on the rear of the panel clear their corresponding slots in the main chassis housing.
