delete snmp host
Purpose
Used to remove a recipient of SNMP traps generated by the switch’s
SNMP agent.
Syntax
delete snmp host <ipaddr> <auth_string 32>
Description
The
delete snmp host
command deletes a recipient of SNMP traps
generated by the switch’s SNMP agent.
Parameters
<ipaddr>

The IP address of a remote SNMP manager that will receive
SNMP traps generated by the switch’s SNMP agent.
<auth_string 32>
−
An alphanumeric string used to authorize a remote
SNMP manager to access the switch’s SNMP agent.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To delete an SNMP host entry:
DES-6500:4#delete snmp host 10.48.74.100
Command: delete snmp host 10.48.74.100
Success.

show snmp host
Purpose
Used to display the recipient of SNMP traps generated by the switch’s
SNMP agent.
Syntax
show snmp host {<ipaddr>}
Description
The
show snmp host
command is used to display the IP addresses
and configuration information of remote SNMP managers that are
designated as recipients of SNMP traps that are generated by the
switch’s SNMP agent.
Parameters
<ipaddr>

The IP address of a remote SNMP manager that will receive
SNMP traps generated by the switch’s SNMP agent.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
