Description
This command is used to enter a static ARP entry into the Switch’s ARP table.
Format
create arpentry <ipaddr> <macaddr>
Parameters
<ipaddr>
- The IP address of the end node or station.
<macaddr>
- The MAC address corresponding to the IP address above.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To create a static ARP entry for the IP address 10.48.74.121 and MAC address 00-50-BA-00-07-
36:
DGS-3120-24TC:admin# create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36
Command: create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36
Success.

delete arpentry
Description
This command is used to delete an ARP entry, by specifying either the IP address of the entry or
all. Specify ‘all’ clears the Switch’s ARP table.
