delete stp instance_id
Description
This command is used to delete an MST Instance.
Format
delete stp instance_id <value 1-15>
Parameters
instance_id
- Specify the MSTP instance ID. Instance 0 represents for default instance, CIST.
<value 1-15>
- Enter the MSTP instance ID here. This value must be between 1 and 15.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To delete an MSTP instance:
DGS-3120-24TC:admin# delete stp instance_id 2
Command: delete stp instance_id 2
Success.

config stp mst_config_id
Description
This command is used to change the name or the revision level of the MST configuration
identification.
Format
config stp mst_config_id {revision_level <int 0-65535> | name <string>}
Parameters
name
- (Optional) Specify the name given for a specific MST region.
<string>
- Enter the MST region name here.
revision_level
- (Optional) The same given name with different revision level also represents
different MST regions.
<int 0-65535>
- Enter the revision level here. This value must be between 0 and 65535.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
