System
Use the
System
command to invoke a system shell command. (This command is equivalent
to adding a
!
prefix to a command line.)
Syntax
System <DOS command>
where
<DOS command>
is the name of the DOS command you want performed.
Examples
System "dir c:\\"
Displays the results of the DOS command (in this example, the contents of the root
directory on the C drive are displayed).
!dir c:\
Displays the results of the DOS command (in this example, the contents of the root
directory on the C drive are displayed).
Help System
Displays help for the
System
command.
