16. You can fill in the boxes to name the program anything. Or leave it as Prgx.
17. THE PMT defaults to 63 HEX. Which may be a conflict so you can change that to something else
if needed. Also the PCR should be ch
anged as well so it doesn’t conflict with another PCR in the
channel.
18. You will need to assign a major and minor channel to it since it is ATSC and the mux will be trying
to add those tables. Also assign a source ID. In this scenario, the channel numbers were made to
coincide with the current channels line up and the source ID was set to 7.

Be sure to set the program to “Hidden and to Hide Guide. Otherwise, the program will show up
as a separate ghost channel.
20. Click Save.
21. Take note of what PID the DSM-CC type B: object carousel says it is. HEX 64 is a common PID
and therefore may need to be changed. To do that, click on Modify Elementary Streams.
