The format of the mobile-number has to follow the international format: +Int-local-number;
example for Switzerland: +41793456789

only works if a GSM-module and SIM card is inserted.
“Mobile Data Connection” entry field, please add in the mask:
Enabled: if you enable the mobile data connection, the LAN port is automatically
disabled and vice versa.
APN (Access point name), Access number are information provided by the mobile
network operator together with the mobile data SIM card.
Username and password are sometimes required, but not mandatory
this information
also needs to be provided by the mobile network operator.
Click the save button after entering the data connection information and close the
DL/PDL configuration menu.
Open the DL/PDL configuration menu again and check for the IP address.
IP address: If the mobile connection is working, an IP address is shown on this line.
Caution
The IP address is only visible after the DL/PDL configuration menu has been closed and
reopened.
9.3.6 Tunnel configuration
The “Reverse Tunnel” configuration is used only in conjunction with the mobile data or public
Ethernet connection, where we have changing IP addresses by the network operator. This
feature is simulating a DynDNS function so the DL/PDL can be reached any time with a
standard web browser.
Caution
The reverse tunnel function can only be started after the mobile or Ethernet data connection is up
and running, please check the following procedure before activating the reverse tunnel:
Check: do I have an IP address in the “Mobile Data Connection” field or Ethernet connection?
Check: can the NTP function, “Time stamp”
