9.5 Configuration of RF – SMA – F interface (PRD-01-SMA-F) at the PDL
Caution
The number of the SMA interface and the related data need to consistent with the real Installation.
Example: The named
RF-interface
on port one (1) of the PDL
needs to be equal to the data
entered for the
RF-interface on port one (1) of the PDL edited in the
configuration menu and
equal with the
physical connection to the RF-interface one (1) o
f the PDL.
The fixed number of the ports is equal to the port number on the PDL.
In the field of the “JB-Name” the given name of the PDL is presented.
The configuration of the RF-Detector is divided into 5 fields, see the following description:
Field 1: General Data
Field 2: Alarm Thresholds
Field 3: Configuration Data
Field 4: Pairing
In case of
installation
variation, a
correction value
can be entered,
with +/- values.
Name the RF-Detector
acc. the directions of the
operator. Indicate with a
name the monitored
service (e.g. Channel 48).
Configuration Data:
Changing the operation frequency will
automatically adjust the Tx at the right
level, after the correct directional
coupling factor has been entered.
The type is
fixed to the
SMA module.
Another RF-interface
can be paired for
RL/VSWR
calculation and
dashboard display
In this dashboard field,
2 modes can be
selected:
Auto by marking the
check box, or Manual.
