Calibration Data:
The calibration data are required to calculate exactly the transmission power PTx. Each sensor
model has default calibration values. If several channels are transmitted, enter the average
frequency. Example: 510 MHz and 570 MHz enter 540 MHz.
Calibration Option 1:
Automatic
Calibration Option 2: Manual
Change of the
operation frequency
The Tx value will
automatically adjust to
the expected level
and measure the
power accurately.
Step 1: Change of the operation frequency.
Step 2: Change the power value to the calculated or measured
power (measured with a very accurate power meter) at the planned
operation frequency at the point the sensor is installed in the RF-
system.
Step 3: Enable “Display measured voltage” in the Configuration
Mask of the DL/PDL – General.
Step 4: Go the Dashboard read the Tx voltage value
Step 5: Enter the value in the field “Tx at reference power” in the
sensor calibration mask.
Automatic calibration:
Changing the operation frequency will
automatically adjust the Tx at the
reference level.
Any time the Tx value can be
overwritten by the exact reading value
from the dashboard and adding the
power value. The “Reset Calibration
Data” function will re-adjust to the
Default values.
Optimize sensor
reading over
dynamic range, by
default activated.
Compensate sensor
results for temperature
variation by default
activated.
This button will
reset the
Calibration Data to
Default values.
Rx/TX signals are
computed in
reverse (“RF in” is
reversed).
