Sensor Pairing:
The Sensors connected are identified easily by the PDL/JB4.x name and the related ports
assigned to the Sensor.
The normal Sensor configuration masks appears to configure the
sensor in the same way.
Caution –
On JB4.x
always pair ports which are in the same block, e.g. Port 1 to 4,
or 5 to 8, or 9 to 12 or 13 to 16.
On the PDL
always pair ports on the same module, e.g. 5
and 6 or 7 and 8.
A sensor model P can be connected to the input
ports of the JB4.x. In this window the
second
port,
where the sensor is connected can be chosen (the
first port is the RF-Detector port in this mask
edited).
With the button “Pair Sensor Ports”
the 2 ports are assigned to a sensor
mode. The Ports are removed from
the list of available ports and
assigned to the Sensor menu.
If it is required and the
sensor is removed; the
port pairing for the
sensor can be reverted
to Standard RF-
Detectors ports.
Paired sensor ports are
displayed in this way.
