9.10 Configuration of alarms
Alarm Email
or
SMS
messages are sent in the following format:
Alarm message: timestamp_site name_ severity_alarm text_source
Message subject: Alarm Monitoring System_site name
Typical alarm email sent:
Timestamp: 2015-04-04T14:49:20.631Z
Name of tower location: Bantiger
Alarm Severity: Urgent
Alarm text: Junction box no response
Alarmed component: Junction Box: Bantiger-UHF
I/O port input A and B:
Severity: by clicking on the field, it can be chosen between “urgent” or “degraded” alarm
severities for this input.
Name: by clicking on this field the alarm text can be entered.
Polling rate: in steps of seconds can be chosen how often the input signal is logged. If
the polling rate is set to zero the input is disabled.
Alarm on…signal: High or Low; the logical alarm notification can be chosen.
Both alarm inputs can forward alarm notification in the same way as every other alarm by SMS
(if activated), email, SNMP or to the output A or B. Several options can be chosen in parallel.
This list represents the alarms the DL/PDL can distinguish. Per alarm it can be
selected if an email, SMS and/or SNMP message is sent in case an alarm is
triggered; or if the I/O output A or B is activated. Several options can be set in
parallel. An alarm from one source is only sent once until the alarm is cleared.
see alarm notification functionality. SMS are only sent if the SMS function in the
Data Logger configuration is activated.
