The system supports 3 rule activation modes:
none reverted
function (default):
Is the rule activated and the action taken, the action is not reverted if the rule
deactivates again.
Example: Transmission Power is increasing above the set limit an alarm is
triggered, the rules is activated, action is taken
amplifier is switched-off and
remains in this position.
reverted
function:
Is the rule activated and the action taken, the action is reverted if the rule
deactivates again.
Example: Transmission Power is increasing above the set limit an alarm is
triggered, the rules is activated, action is taken
amplifier is switched-off after
the rules is deactivated the action is reverted, the amplifier is switched-on again.
reverted with loop
function:
Is the rule activated and the action taken, the action is reverted if the rule
deactivates again, after a set time and number of polling cycles where the
activation is repeated, automatically the none reverted mode is set.
Example: Transmission Power is increasing above the set limit an alarm is
triggered, the rules is activated, action is taken
amplifier is switched-off. After
the rules is deactivated the action is reverted, the amplifier is switched-on again
(toggling). After the loop criteria are fulfilled (number of repetitive rule activations)
within the set time period the action is not reverted anymore.
Activation Mode:
Default is non revertive, with this
checkbox the revertive mode is
activated!
Loop detection:
If the loop function is required, 2 parameters can be set:
No. of cycles: here the number of repetitive rule activation triggers are set (rule activation
counter) and the loop detection time cycle.
Example: 3 cycles and 400 seconds.
If within this time the rules is activated 3 times (also after maybe switching back to non-active –
toggling), the non-revertive mode is switch on, meaning the ATSB / Tx interface stays in the
action mode position.
If within the 400 seconds not 3 times the rule activation flag is triggered, the rule activation
counter is set back to zero again.
