ENGINE OIL
NOTE :

The engine must be horizontal to get an accurate oil level
reading. Always check and service equipment on a firm, level
surface.
CAUTION
To prevent injury, always stop the engine be-
fore checking the oil or performing any other
service or repair.

A : Engine oil level within this range is proper.

1. Replace the fuel filter cartridge every 400 hours.
2. Apply a thin layer of fuel oil on the gasket.
3. Install and hand-tighten.
4. Bleed air from the fuel system. Check for leaks.
(1) Fuel filter cartridge

(3) Pipe joint
(4) Filter Bracket

IMPORTANT
Replacing the fuel filter periodically will sig-
nificantly reduce injection pump and fuel in-
jector wear.
