Troubleshooting

MP3/CD player
- No playback or disc ejected
- The CD-R/RWs that are
playable on other devices
are not playable on this
unit.
- Sound skipping or noise
- Sound skipping due to
vibration
- Disc unejectable
- The disc is inserted upside down.
- There is a flaw or foreign object on the
disc.
- The disc has unplayable formatted data.
- The unit plays back the ROM track of a
mix mode CD.
- The playability of some CD-R/RWs may
depend on the combination of media,
recording software and recorder to be
used even if these CD-R/RWs are
playable on other devices such as a
personal computer.
- There is a flaw or foreign object on the
disc.
- The unit is not sufficiently secured.
- The unit is tilted at over 30° in the front-
to-end direction.
- A label is peeled off from the CD in the
unit.
- Insert the disc correctly.
- Remove the foreign objects, or use a flawless disc.
- Refer to the description about MP3 for playable sound data
except CD-DA (i.e. music CD).
- Skip the ROM track.
- Make CD-R/RWs in different combination of media,
recording software and recorder after referring to the
description about MP3 .
- Remove the foreign objects, or use a flawless disc. For MP3,
refer to the description about MP3.
- Secure the unit to the console box with the rear support
strap, etc.
- Make the angle 30° or less.
- Refer repair to the dealer where you purchased the unit.
