General operation
ABS system operates normally on engine start-up.
If no problems are found when the key is on ON, ABS and ASR
warning indications will be turned off shortly after turning on.
If no system faults are found while the engine is operational,
the warning indication will not flicker.
Faults found
If any faults or problems are found while suspended
examination is performed by ECU, ABS warning indication
will flicker and ABS system will be partially or fully shut down.
If any problems are found on wheel speed sensor by ECU
while driving, the ABS indications will flicker until ECU
receives all-clear result from all wheel sensors.
ABS warning indication will be turned off when normal
condition is confirmed.
Flicker code
ABS warning indications inform you of faults and indicate
them by flickering.
Flicker code within ECU are used for indicating two types of
flicker code.
Composition code : It shows system composition of ECU
programming.
Fault code : It provides information on faults detected by ECU.
If flicker codes are operated with Faulty Diagnosis button,
Flicker code will be indicated within the short period of ABS
warning indication.
Flickering number can be interpreted with flicker code table.
Faulty Diagnosis button oepration
Flicker codes indicated by ABS warning indications are
expressed in two methods.
Off and On lamp are indicated with a couple of symbols
It is expressed in steps in the graph according to basic time
ABS warning indications are turned on to indicated that
Faulty Diagnosis button has been pressed.
