3.1 Microcontroller Configuration: Service mode
3.1.1 Tuning System Option
Tuning option can be selected among the 4 options: TF->TK->TU->TA.
Selection is made possible using factory R/C key H.BOW Down(-) button.
Select to TK for PAL/SECAM B/G, D/K reception.
3.1.2 Tuner Option
Tuner option can be selected among the 4 options: LG -> SDI -> PHI -> GDC -> LON
Selection is made possible using factory R/C key OPT button.
Select and match with real Tuner type and maker.
3.2 TV Set Alignments
3.2.1 G2(Screen) alignment
- Press the "H/R" key of service remocon to the heat run mode off.
- Receive the RETMA PATTERN.
- Press the screen key on the service remocon.
- Adjust the screen volume of FBT, the SCREEN value equal to 32.
- Press the "SCREEN" key of service remocon again.
3.2.2 White Balance
- Select a dark picture and adjust R. BIAS and G.BIAS to the desired color temperature.
- Select a bright picture and adjust R.DRV, G.DRV, B.DRV to the desired color temperature.
3.2.3 Focus
- Adjust the Focus volume on FBT to have the best resolution on screen.
3.2.4 Vertical Geometry
- Adjust the vertical amplitude (V-SIZE), center (V-CEN) and slope (V-SLOPE) to compensate for the vertical
distortion.
