Start the engine and allow the oil to fill the filter
and passages.
12.
Check for oil leaks.
13.
Stop the engine and measure the oil level.
Maintain the oil level between the MAX and
MIN marks on dip stick.
14.
Close hood and seat assembly.
NOTICE
Servicing of the engine oil and oil filter element
will largely affect the engine performance as
well as the engine life.
Engine oil and filter element must be changed
after the first 50 hours.
Transmission Oil, Oil Filter &
Strainer - Check, Clean, Change
WARNING
Hot oil and components can cause personal
injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to
contact skin.
Park the lift truck level, with the forks lowered,
parking brake engaged, direction control lever in
NEUTRAL and the engine stopped.
1.
Remove drain plug (1). Allow the oil to drain
into a suitable container. Clean the magnetic
drain plug. Check O-ring seal and replace if
necessary. Remove the spring and the strainer.
2.
Wash the strainer assembly in clean,
nonflammable solvent and dry it. Install the
strainer assembly.
