Note: MARS-2622-4GM-P ETR uses Grade2 Sensor and MARS-2621-4GM-P ETR uses Grade1 Sensor.
The difference defined by the sensor manufacturer between the two cameras only exists in the sensor
chips
’ factory grade, for Grade1 chips do not have consecutive defect pixel cluster, while Grade2 chips
may have up to 12 consecutive defect pixel cluster. It also comes out with Static Defect Correction function,
The default factory parameters will be calibrated at the factory, use the Static Defect Correction plugin to
recalibrate while the application scenario parameters changed, see more details in 9.5 Static Defect
Correction Plugin for specific use.
1) Monochrome camera
One defect pixel cluster can embody 2 to 4 consecutive defect pixels within it, but not included 4
consecutive defect pixels all in a horizontal level, as shown in the NOK below:
