If a battery symbol appears on the MD302 display, airplane take--off is not
allowed until the situation is resolved. Refer to the battery details in the
MD302 Pilot’s guide for further information.

MD302 -- NORMAL PROCEDURE
--
No pilot action required for normal shutdown. The MD302 will shut down
automatically within 60 seconds following electrical power shut--down.
MD302 -- MANUAL PROCEDURE
-- The MD302 can be manually shut down when in the discharge mode to
conserve battery power :
. Press and hold the control knob for approximately 2 seconds.
. Turn the control knob to select POWER OFF on the menu and press the
control knob to shut down the standby attitude module.
