TAMPED SNOW RUNWAYS (2/2)
Landing
After wheel touch
1 -- Use reverse only if necessary and very progressively by monitoring
the airplane behaviour.
The engine torque tends to make the airplane turn to the left.
2 -- Taxi at very slow speed (max. 5 KIAS).
Use
β
area of power lever to adjust speed.
Apply very smooth variations using power lever.
3 -- Steer the airplane using the rudder.
Make turns at a very low speed, engine torque tends to make the
airplane turn to the left.
4 -- Use brakes only at very low speed and progressively.
On the ramp, after landing or taxiing :
1 -- Do not use the parking brake to prevent brake lock.
2 -- Use chocks and / or tie--down the airplane.
