Replenishment Procedure
WARNING
Make sure that the airplane is fitted with a grounding cable and is
properly grounded. The oxygen cart must be electrically bonded to the
airplane.
Do not operate the airplane's electrical switches or connect/disconnect
ground power during oxygen system replenishment.
Do not operate the oxygen system during refueling/defueling or perform
any other servicing procedure that could cause ignition.
The contact of petroleum-based substances such as grease or oil to
oxygen creates a serious fire hazard. Do not use oil or grease with the
oxygen replenishment equipment.
Always open the shut-off valve slowly to avoid generating heat, and
replenish the system slowly at a rate not exceeding 200 PSIG (13.7 bars)
per minute.
CAUTION
Replenishment of the oxygen system should only be performed by qualified
personnel.
