Description
The information in this section supplements and/or replaces the information in
section 7: Description of the standard POH when the airplane is equipped with the
GDR66 transceiver.
7.15 - Miscellaneous equipment
The GDR 66 is a digital communications transceiver. It provides:

a CPDLC function, if installed
-
a COM3 channel in the 118.000 to 137.000 MHz VHF aviation communications
band.
CPDLC communications, if installed
The CPDLC function allows efficient communications with Air Traffic Control, with
short standard text messages.

The use of CPDLC by the Pilot In Command is prohibited in flight
below 10,000 ft AMSL.
