When the engine is running, indicates that ITT is more than:
-
900 °C, or
-
850 °C for more than 20 seconds.
During engine start, indicates that ITT is more than:
-
1,000 °C, or
-
900 °C for more than 5 seconds, or
-
850 °C for more than 20 seconds.
CAUTION
Autothrottle and FADEC engine protection systems do not relieve the pilot's
responsibility to monitor and control the engine ITT parameter within the
limitations.
During engine start:
NOTE
During engine start, if ITT is above 945 °C, the FADEC automatically
aborts start sequence.
