Caution on connection of voltage detection cable
It is necessary to wire the voltage detection line to correctly feedback the arc voltage. In order to reduce the influence of
inductive interference, pay attention to the following matters. When connecting the base metal side voltage detection cable
to the welding power source, also pay attention to the following matters.
•
Wire the voltage detection wire on the base metal side and the welding torch as close as possible.
•
Do not tie the base metal side cable and base metal side voltage detection cable by cable tie or other materials.
•
When using a cable bear, keep distance between the base material side cable and the base material side voltage
detection cable as much as possible for wiring.

Connection at TIG welding
CAUTION
•
In using the welding power source for TIG welding, prepare a welding torch by the customer.
•
Contrary to the normal connection, the TIG welding requires connection of the welding torch
to the output terminal (base metal side). Also, connect the power cable for base metal side
to the output terminal (torch side).
•
After five seconds have passed, the safety voltage (approx.15 V) is automatically provided.

This area should be minimized as much as

Put the voltage detection cable on the welding
torch side (built in the welding torch) and the

Do not fasten it with the base material side cable terminal.
(Keep a distance of 5 cm or more)
Do not lay the cables together with
