Chiller Mode
Chiller Mode Setpoint – Unless the configuration parameter nciDefaults =1 Network (nviMode) is set
to match the configuration value (nciMode) upon unit controller power-up or loss of communication.
Loss of communications is determined by Receive Heartbeat (nciRCvHrtBt). If Receive Heartbeat is
greater than zero, then communication is lost if nviMode is not written to prior to expiration of the
Receive Heartbeat timer. Each time nviMode is written, the Receive Heartbeat timer is reset. If
Receive Heartbeat is set to 0, then this function is disabled and communication loss is never detected.
