11.1.2 Main cleaning
The main cleaning is an intensive cleaning procedure.
Responsibility
– Only
cleaning companies
or
qualified staff
au-
thorised and trained by AHT may carry out a main
cleaning
.
Cleaning interval
– At least once a year, or
– according to separate maintenance agreement
between AHT and customer.
If the condenser coil is not cleaned once per year, this
can considerably reduce the efficiency of the appli-
ance.

Follow the cleaning instructions.
These instructions are available from qualified staff
and cleaning companies authorised by AHT.

Only qualified staff may carry out maintenance, ser-
vice, and repair work, including the following functional
test.
In the event of questions relating to maintenance, con-
tact the maintenance service

Work on the electrical system and re-
frigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape and
cause an explosive gas/air mixture. Com-
pressor oil can leak out during repairs. Fire
hazard due to sparking or overload.

Only qualified staff may carry out work on
the electrical system and refrigerant cir-
cuit.

Observe the electrical safety rules prior to
commencing work.
1. Disconnect the appliance.
2. Secure the appliance against reconnec-
tion.

During the repair, a competent person
with knowledge of local conditions must
be available as contact for the qualified
staff.

Only qualified staff may restart the appli-
ance and perform functional tests.
CAUTION
Sharp edges, rotating parts. Hot sur-
faces.
Risk of injury to hand and body. Risk of burns
in the event of skin contact.

Only qualified staff may carry out mainten-
ance service repairs on the appliance.

Wear protective gloves.
§
Do not touch hot surfaces, in particular
compressors, condensers and hot gas
lines, until they have cooled down.
