MOLD PROOF Operation
The inside of the air conditioner is dried to reduce the occurrence of mold and odour.
When COOL or DRY operation is performed, condensation may occur inside the air
conditioner and may cause mold or odour. It is recommended to dry the inside of the
air conditioner using MOLD PROOF operation.
[To operate automatically]
To set
1.
Press
and hold the button for 2 seconds.
2.
Press or and select menu number .

” appears on the LCD.

” (menu number) blinks.

Press
to confirm the selected setting.
4.
Press or to change the setting
as follows:
Automatic operation is disabled
(default)
Automatic operation is enabled

Press
again.
•
Automatic MOLD PROOF operation will be enabled or disabled according to
the chosen setting.
•
If automatic MOLD PROOF operation is enabled, “ ” appears on the LCD and the MOLD
PROOF lamp lights green when MOLD PROOF operation is in progress.
•
The STREAMER lamp lights green and flash streamer air cleaning operation starts.

to return to the default screen.
NOTE
Note on MOLD PROOF setting
•
The display automatically returns to the default screen after 60 seconds. To return to the default screen sooner, press
twice.
Notes on MOLD PROOF operation
•
When you want to stop MOLD PROOF operation midway, press
twice.
•
After DRY or COOL operation stops, the air conditioner starts MOLD PROOF operation automatically, and then stops automatically 60 minutes later.
•
This operation dries the inside of the air conditioner while streamer discharge is performed to reduce the development of mold and odour
inside the air conditioner. But the function does not remove any adhered dust and mold.
•
MOLD PROOF operation is not available when the unit is turned off using the OFF TIMER or turned off using a smartphone.
