Operation

MODE

Usage and Function

AUTO FAN

Automatic airflow rate adjustment

FAN setting (“Quiet”, “Low”, “Standard”, “High*”) is automatically adjusted according to the degree

of air impurity and humidity (when the Humidifying operation is active).

Purifying capacity increases as airflow rate rises.

If the operating sound bothers you, the airflow rate range can be changed.

Page 31, 32

*  The maximum airflow rate during AUTO FAN MODE is “High”, which is less powerful than “Turbo”.

•  Press

if you want to change the humidity level.

•  Degree of air impurity corresponds to the volume of dust and the intensity of odours in the ambient air.

ECONO

Saving energy

In Power saving mode within ECONO MODE, the FAN setting automatically switches between

“Quiet” and “Low” only. Power consumption (*1) and operating sounds are reduced.

If the air is clean and the set humidity level has been achieved (when the Humidifying operation is

active), after about 5 minutes passes, Monitoring mode automatically activates. Recommended for

use during sleep hours.

*1  By comparison to AUTO FAN MODE (about 15.4Wh), power consumption in ECONO MODE (about

8.4Wh) is about 7.0Wh lower.
Test conditions case in Japan: operation in 10m² area over 1 hour. Assuming 1 cigarette was smoked
immediately after the unit was turned on.

Monitoring mode

•

The fan starts and stops periodically, and
dust, odour and humidity is checked.

•

Turn “Off” the following functions to further

reduce power consumption.

If the humidity level falls, or

dust or odours are
detected...

The unit operates
automatically with an

airflow rate of “Quiet”
and “Low”.

*2 The humidifier lamp remains lit.

•

Air purification and humidification capacity will be reduced as only “Quiet” and “Low” operation are used.

•  Since the air in the room is not drawn in while the fan is stopped, the sensitivity of the PM2.5 sensor,

odour sensor, and humidity sensor will decrease. If you do not want the sensitivity of the sensors to be

reduced, set Monitoring mode to “OFF”.
