Purpose • Application

Perform energy-saving interlocked control
of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit using the
remote controller for commercial multi air
conditioners (building multi) /SkyAir.
During intermediate periods, independent
operation of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit
is possible with a remote controller for air
conditioner.

Energy-saving interlocked control by duct
connection of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit and
indoor unit of commercial multi air conditioners
(building multi) /SkyAir within the same group.

This is available only during interlock using

remote controller lines.

Perform energy-saving interlocked control of 2 or more
groups of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit and indoor unit
of commercial multi air conditioners (building multi) /
SkyAir.
Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit operates if any of the
indoor units starts operation.
During intermediate periods, independent operation
of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit is also possible with a
remote controller for air conditioner.

One adapter connection is provided to the

centralized transmission line. Adapter can also

be connected to the air conditioner.

Functions

Energy-saving interlocked operation is performed by operating the remote controller for
indoor unit of commercial multi air conditioners (building multi) /SkyAir.

Ventilation mode and rate can be switched for BRC1H62, BRC1E63.
Other settings are made in the ﬁeld setting mode.

Energy-saving interlocked operation of Heat Reclaim
Ventilator Unit is performed if any of the indoor units on
the same centralized transmission line starts operation.

All air conditioners in the system will be interlocked.
Be careful if there are many separate groups.

Up to 16 units of a combination of Heat
Reclaim Ventilator Unit and indoor units
of commercial multi air conditioners
(building multi) /SkyAir under energy-saving
interlocking (within the same group)

Total remote controller wiring length: Up
to 500m

Up to 16 units of a combination of Heat
Reclaim Ventilator Unit and indoor units
of commercial multi air conditioners
(building multi) /SkyAir under energy-saving
interlocking by duct direct connection (within
the same group)

Total remote controller wiring length: Up to

The maximum total number of groups is 64 groups

Max. length of centralized transmission line: Up to
1000m

Notes

Add BRC1H62 to perform control
by 2 remote controllers.

Be sure to set duct direct connection to
“Yes”.

Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit operates only
when the air conditioner fan is in operation
to prevent dust from falling from indoor unit
of commercial multi air conditioners (building
multi) /SkyAir. Therefore, independent
operation of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit is
not allowed during intermediate periods. Air
conditioner is used in fan operation.

24-hour operation setting and intermittent
weak notch operation are not available for
duct direct connection system.

Duct direct connection is not allowed

Set the zone interlock to “Yes”.
