Automatic Ventilation Mode Control by Humidity Sensor (Optional Accessory)
Purpose
•
Functions
This is a function to enhance energy efficiency and comfort through automatic switching of ventilation mode, which is realized by
performing control in combination of standard temperature sensor and additional indoor (RA) • outdoor (OA) humidity sensor.
Energy-saving ventilation mode
Reduces load on air conditioner by calculating indoor (RA) and outdoor (OA) enthalpy to automatically determine ventilation mode.
Comfortable ventilation mode
Enhances indoor comfort by calculating outdoor (OA) discomfort index to automatically determine ventilation mode.
Unit operation
Energy-saving ventilation mode
When the ventilation mode “Auto” is selected, enthalpy (energy) and dew point temperature of the air are calculated by the indoor/
outdoor temperature sensor (standard) and the humidity sensor (optional accessory) to switch to the optimum ventilation mode in
order to achieve both energy efficiency and condensation prevention.
At cooling operation

Cooling/heating mode is determined as follows:
①
During interlocked operation with air conditioner…According to the operation mode of the interlocked air conditioner
②
During independent operation of Heat Reclaim Ventilator Unit…Based on self-judgment (judgment by indoor/outdoor temperature
sensor)
