C. Problem: Paint Discoloration (whitish appearance)
Solution:
Paint is rated for 900°F surfaces, and overheating of furnace will cause a whitish
appearance on outside of combustion chamber surfaces; reduce chimney draft to
control overheating.
NOTE
: To cover discoloration, obtain a high-temperature flat
black spray paint from hardware or fireplace shop.
