Fan Control
Fan Control
provides three different methods for controlling the internal ventilation of the
display cabinet. The
Fan Control
settings determine when the display fans will turn on and
off. Refer to
PLR Fan Control
This sets the high and low temperatures that
trigger the display fans. The fans will turn on
once 10% or more of the modules exceed the
High
value. The fans will continue to run until all
modules reach the
Low
value.
Brightness Fan Control
If set to
Active
, the
Brightness Fan Control
sets high and low brightness percentages
that trigger the display fans. The fans will turn
on once the display brightness percentage
reaches the
High
value. The fans will continue
to run until the brightness percentage reaches
the
Low
value. The default state is
Inactive
.
Cabinet Fan Control
If set to
Active
, the
Cabinet Fan Control
sets
the high and low temperatures that trigger
the display fans. The fans will turn on once the PLR temperature sensor reaches the
High
value. The fans will continue to run until the PLR temperature sensor reaches the
Low
value. This control is used most often with the Street Furniture product line.
Note:
The
Cabinet Fan Control
offset adjusts the PLR temperature sensor reading up or
down (-30 °C to +30 °C). As shown in
, if the PLR sensor reads 40 °C with
an offset of +15 °C, the effective reading is 55 °C. In this case, the fans will not
be triggered since this below the configured high point of 65 °C.
