Do not make modifications
Do not make any modifications to the unit (neither to the software
nor the hardware) without consulting Dallmeier electronic GmbH
& Co. KG. Improper modifications to the unit can trigger serious
malfunctions or damage the unit.
Dallmeier electronic GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for
damage resulting from unauthorized or improper modifications
to the unit.
Penetration of foreign bodies and liquids
No objects or liquids may be allowed to get into the device.
They could cause mechanical faults (blocking a fan) or a short
circuit, resulting in a deterioration of function or damage to the
system.
In theses cases disconnect the unit from the power supply (pull
out the power plug). Please contact your sales partner to
coordinate the further procedure.
Passwords
You should change the default passwords for security reasons.
Ensure that you will always remember the current passwords of
the system.
Losing the administrator password, in particular, could require
the system to be reset to the works settings by the manufacturer
for a fee.
Data protection
The DAS can store personal information (depending on the
configuration) that may be subject to data protection.
For this reason observe the local data-protection regulations. If
you call up data from the unit, store it carefully. Pass this
information on only to persons selected by you and entitled to
the information.
Observe regulations
The use of video and audio surveillance systems is strictly
regulated in most countries. Inform yourself on local regulations
and requirements before using the system. Also observe the
local laws regarding data, working and environmental protection.
Observe ratings
Ensure compliance with all technical ratings, operating conditions
(Appendix) and requirements at the installation site.
