Mounting into the rack

IMPORTANT

Danger of injury and damage to the DAS-300 E!

A DAS-300 E can weigh up to 32 kg. It must always be lifted
with adequate lifting facilities or by at least 2 persons.

Do not lift the DAS-300 E by the handles of the plug-in modules.

1. Lift the DAS-300 E and insert the chassis slides into the guide rails.

2. Completely slide the DAS-300 E into the rack.

IMPORTANT

Possible damage to the DAS-300 E and / or rack!

Ensure that you slide it straight. Do not use any force.

3. Tighten the rear screws.

4. Withdraw the DAS-300 E until it reaches the hard stops (approx. 40 cm).

5. Tighten the front screws.

6. Completely slide the DAS-300 E into the rack.

7. Secure the DAS-300 E to the rack using the captive fasteners on the front flanges.
