Interval
The interval option is helpful to reduce the number of FTP image uploads if lots of alarm/
events are triggered within a short time. The less the
Duration (sec.)
between two FTP
image uploads is set, the more the network utilization rate (traffic level, bandwidth con-
sumption) may increase.

Scheduler
The scheduler function allows scheduling the messaging function.
Note that
• scheduler settings only apply to the currently selected alarm host.
• the minimum selectable period is 15 minutes.
• the week timer applies to the entire year if no exceptions are set.

Select inactive periods

In the week timer, click and hold the left mouse button and draw a rectangle over a
relevant period.
Release the mouse button.
Repeat the last two steps until all relevant inactive periods are selected.
